DEPUTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY DAN ARRIOLA RUNNING FOR TRACY SCHOOL BOARD
TRACY, CA — This week, Dan Arriola, Deputy District Attorney for San Joaquin County and Youth Advisory Commissioner for the City of Tracy, announced his intention to run for the Tracy School Board. Arriola seeks one of three seats that will be up for election in November.
“It has been a privilege working with young people and local leaders to advocate for education and the youth in our community, but there is still much work to be done. I am running for Tracy School Board because I know just how challenging it can be to pursue an education and EVERY student deserves the opportunity to succeed.”
Arriola grew up in Tracy and graduated from West High School in 2007. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from UCLA in 2011, and a Juris Doctor from the USC Gould School of Law in 2014. In addition to his position as Deputy District Attorney for San Joaquin County, Arriola also serves as Youth Advisory Commissioner for the City of Tracy and Chairman of the Young Professionals of Tracy. Arriola also sits on the Board of Directors for the Tracy Chamber of Commerce, the One.TLC School for Homeless Children, and the Jose M. Hernandez Reaching for the Stars Foundation.
Arriola will be hosting a campaign launch event on Saturday, May 21st at 12:00 p.m. in front of Merrill F. West High School (1775 W. Lowell Avenue, Tracy). Following the launch, there will be a meet-and-greet and campaign BBQ at Zanussi Park (1500 Promenade Circle, Tracy).
